Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how LusterBook ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit and use our platform. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. They serve various purposes, such as remembering your preferences, authenticating your identity, and understanding how you use a service. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which function comparably to cookies but may store larger amounts of data.
2. Cookies We Use
We primarily use essential cookies required to operate the Service. Below is a breakdown of the types of cookies we use:
| Cookie / Technology | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Essential | Supabase authentication session token. Keeps you logged in and verifies your identity. | Session / 1 year |
| sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier | Essential | PKCE code verifier for secure OAuth authentication flows (Google sign-in). | Session |
| __vercel_live_token | Essential | Vercel deployment and preview session management. | Session |
3. What We Don't Use
We want to be transparent about what we do not do with cookies. LusterBook currently does not use:
• Advertising or tracking cookies — We do not serve ads and do not use cookies to track you across other websites.
• Third-party analytics cookies — We do not currently embed third-party analytics trackers (such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude) in the Service.
• Social media cookies — We do not embed social media widgets that set their own cookies.
If we introduce analytics or any non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, request your consent before setting those cookies.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some third-party services integrated into the platform may set their own cookies:
Lemon Squeezy: When you interact with subscription checkout or billing management, Lemon Squeezy may set cookies for payment session management and fraud prevention.
Stripe (Optional): If you enable the Stripe integration, Stripe may set cookies for payment processing and fraud detection when your clients make payments.
Google (OAuth): The Google sign-in flow may set cookies related to authentication. These are governed by Google's privacy policy.
These third-party cookies are governed by the respective privacy policies of those services. We do not control the cookies set by third parties.
5. Managing Cookies
You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
• View what cookies are stored and delete them individually or in bulk
• Block all cookies or only third-party cookies
• Configure cookie preferences for specific websites
Please note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the Service. The authentication cookies listed above are strictly necessary for the platform to function.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date.
